If you're after someone in Glg, try asking XM221 - he's done some great fabrication work on SAS01 and should have a good recommendation...

Or in Melb, try asking Neil at Grand Tourer. He had a fair bit of top-notch work done for the Murray Carter car...

Had a few bits replated at Prahran Platers a couple of years ago which had some rusting, and was quite happy with the work done. Pittard plating in Fitzroy used to be the best some years ago but I'm not sure they still do this sort of work.

Have a look at this website, which is a directory for platers including one in Geelong.

Unfortunately many dont do private small jobs or resto's that take more time, so those that do charge well. Suggest to ring around but then you want to know you're getting a good job done, so ask them the right questions including price. The work is done before the plating. Bumpers are pretty straight forward though if not pitted too much.

I just got a set a couple of months ago from grand tourer and they are perfect. Previously I have used Vinnies in Dandenong and his finish is first class. Prices are roughly the same but if your bumpers are pretty average grand tourer may not accept them where as Vinnies will accept bumpers in far worse condition. You are looking at around the $350+ mark exchange.

I've had parts chromed from Vinnies and was very pleased with the result but i've not had any bumpers done though. I work just around the corner from Vinnies so if you wan't me to pop in and ask any questions, just pm me and i'll do it.
