Thumbs up my EB sound system

Well I was bored with just a tape deck and radio so I decided to by myself a cd/mp3 player...

And now I need advice as to what are a great brand of 6 inch speakers is. And I want to get 2 subs and an amp and put in the void behind the rear seats...

Ill probably make my own box for them. Im wondering what you guys think would be good.

i am running a mtx 12'' and a crap audio master amp and i could not believe how good it runs. btw i am running the silver pioneer 6'' splits in the front doors and some kenwood 6'' in the back and i could not be happier with the sound. although mine was a budget system.

have a look around and see if you can get some Hertz speakers. Got some second hand for my GF and I couldnt believe the diffrence in quality compared to the kickers that i run.

ive got 2 kicker 12" cvr's in the boot.
they were in a vented custom box but my ears & neighbours cracked the shits.
now they are in sealed box and turned down....kicker is the best.
sony should call their speakers "CRAPLODS" not xplods.

im running Pioneer amps which are the lowest input current for the highest clean output.

im running 2 x kicker 4" in front doors
2 x kicker 6x9 in front doors
2 x kicker 6x9 in rear doors
2 x kicker 6" in rear shelf

kicker have great low and great high....but their mid range sound is a little low.
but their subs make up for it so go kicker...they arent that much more than response.
btw if u gonna put good speakers in...dont buy cheap **** amps...ull only spoil the sound.

ill get sum picks of my new basic boot layout (yeah dont have time to work on boot to what i want so i went a more basic look.

also if you have 2 12's put them in the same box for maximum boom

i think it should be round 100ltrs for a sealed box and a bit bigger if its vented...

I second what BJSPENCER85 has said.

Mate of mine got an entire Kicker system (tweeters, 6" front, 6"x9" rear, twin 12" subs) with the newest Pioneer head unit and all amplified by an 800w and a 600w amp...and it sounds unreeeal!

The music was crystal inside, and even outside WITH the doors closed!

kicker make some wicked amps.... just because the Watts are not that big... they still kick most other brands in there range and there pretty fricken powerfull when u hook one of ther D class amps to 2 12" cvr subs... well thats my opinion.
