Default DEV Cam and LPG

Hi Guys,

I am looking at getting a performance cam for my NC. It already has a Wade 1004@112 but I want something bigger so I am currently thinking about a DEV5. I just wanted to know if you have ever tryed this cam on an LPG motor and how it would go on an LPG motor?

Cheers.

Hi Steve,

Yes we have used a dev 5 cam with LPG with good power results.

The biggest restriction in a gas system is the Gas mixer, so huge gains are really not possible. The highest power LPG system I know of was from perth with 148rwkw with a full dev 5, after removal of the lpg his power went upto 170 rwkw. The car was an ef auto.
