Default Nail under car tyres

I was just woken up by my neighbour who's building his house.

Someone at some stage last night put brand new 100mm concrete nails under our new cars two rear tyres. We've only had the car two days!

[edit]Just found another under the passenger side front tyre.

Bastards! :jab: We've reported it to the police just incase they catch the culprit.

Are the tyres r00ted, or can they have one of those patches stuck on the inside as a repair?

Hope it's the latter...

And yes, a baseball bat sounds good. Maybe with a 100mm concrete nail thru the end of it :p

Our neighbour knocked on the door and pointed out the nails. So we didn't have to put up with 3 tyres either flat or with nails in them.

It would have annoyed me as the tyres are basically new.

What I find odd is very few people know the car is ours as we've only had it two days. Police stated if it was just the rear tyres it'd most likely be kids. The nail under the front tyre makes it look suspiciously like someone with a grudge or jealousy. Buggered if I know why someone would be jealous? It's only a 2002 Madza Astina. A grudge? Maybe the Mrs family as they are nutters.

We have 3 100mm concrete nails for that piece of wood now. PERFECT!

Not to our knowledge as yet. They didn't do the driverside as you see that when you get in the car. It's in plain sight. They thought about their actions.

The thing I find odd is they didn't target our EL that was parked on the street. I think it was kids but I'm not 100% sure yet. We'll see if it happens again and go from there.

The only car that gets garage treatment is the XB. For obvoius reasons.

I've just got home in it (10:15pm). I'll be keeping an eye out before I go to bed. The Mrs wants it in the garage. That ain't going to happen even though the XB's not there.

Maybe if they try it again, you could nailgun their hands to the driveway. It would seem that the like nails and your driveway so much, perhaps they can spend a little more time with both!

Brings out a lot of grubs during the day, too. Mid-year holidays last year after finishing work, I found a nice coin-scratch down the entire driver side of my car, but luckily they were too retarded to scratch it properly and I think it was just the zinc from the coin as it polished out. Then these school holidays just passed, I was pulling into a multilevel carpark cos I hadn't closed my rear passenger door and couldnt reach it while driving without actually dislocating my arm (as I nearly found out) and some idiots dumped what appeared to be a bucket of coffee on my window from above. At first I'm just like WTF cos this huge noise and a sh!tload of liquid assaulted my windscreen, but then I realised what it was and headed up to the upper levels looking but unfortunately didnt find anyone. I made the mistake of using the windscreen wipers to try and wipe it off as I thought it was water but when they left behind weird smeared trails and looked as if they were sticking I got exceedingly ****ed. I put my hand round and touched it and it smelt kind of like resin, but luckily it wasnt (for the sake of my skin, too) so I went to the closest Mobil and cleaned it off with one of those windscreen-wiper things, but it was still near-impossible to see out of the windscreen. People can be really stupid sometimes

I had that happen to my previous car at the train station. I ended up buying a small mag torch so I can check the tyres at night before driving off. I got sick of checking the tyres and decided it was better walking to the station or get a lift when possible. Ended up being for the better. I got my excercise and the car was safe all day in the garage.

We use to have problems at night at our old house as the drunk, ****ed idoits that were board out of their tiny little brain would walk home after the pub shut. We found all sorts of thing in morning.

it's bullshit how people have no respect for anyones property, i get paranoid if my car's not parked the closest to the front door, i had to leave it on the grass right next to the foot path one night and could barely sleep, personally knowing some of the lowlife scum that live around here and what they're capable of doing.
