It all depends on the conditions.
Highway expect about 8-9L/100klms (800klms a tank roughly)
Around town expect 13-15L/100klms (400-500klms a tank roughly)
I'm not too good on estimating petrol figures as I have LPG.

Petrol - 800 Country, 600 Town.

I tend to run a tank of petrol through, with injector cleaner chucked in, on country trips just to clean the system up a bit. This means I am a bit vague on what distance I get on gas in the bush.

On gas I get about 300 commuting in peak traffic.

The gas guage red light comes on about 250 to 270 and I try to ignore it until I get to around 300 or the price of LPG seems OK or I get too worried about running out.

That's pretty much what we get in the wagon, though highway is more like 9-10, and city is anywhere between 12 and 15.

In the wagon generally between 400 - 500 km a tank.

Thats spot on I reckon, because my Dad's been driving my AU3 for the past month, and we work out his fuel consumption, driving from Werribee to the depot in Broadmeadows, he was averaging 9.3L/100km in economy mode. Pretty ******* impressive for a 4.0 litre 6...
