damn i know the colour your talking about (Sand Storm, i think), in fact theres a AU3 SR for sale just up the road in it.

* EDIT
Ive found a photo on the net of a car in it- It looks crap in the pictures, but the AU's ive seen in it look bloody good in real life; its infinately better than Organza or Armaretto or Metorite

was a special colour available on 75th anniversary models IIRC, it is darker than organza and amaretto, hard to describe without a pic.

i'm 99% sure b2tf is right, it only came out on the 75th anniversary cars. i was looking for that particular model before i bought mine, and they are the only ones i have seen in that colour.

Nice looking colour, reminds me of the army for some reason. I wonder what the Fairlane looked like. Never ever seen a brown one before.

So that's what it's called. Sandstone. We seen one last week in Werribee. It really caught my eye because I had never seen an AU in that colour and thought it looked unusual. Interesting....

It's a great colour indeed. Classy, very classy.

I love those 75th Anniversary editions, especially the Ghias, but IIRC they didn't come out with that colour. I thought it was just the Futuras, but I stand to be corrected. LOL!

In any case, an awesome looking colour.
