Default EA LSD center into AU IRS

hey guys
i have been offered the LSD from an EA falcon with 2.72? i think it is ratio

i have no idea what the go is with diffs
but will the LSD go inside my AU fairlane IRS diff housing etc??

put it this way, that's longer than a forte came out with, they are 3.08, basically the higher the number, the shorter the diff, that's why people get 3.73s, 3.9s, etc, i think a 2.72 would just about kill your car, especially with the long first gear

As said, dont even bother trying to do it as the ratio is all wrong, and besides it will be 25 spline axles, you will have 28 splines at least for a start.

The ratio would be 2.77:1... In addition to the reasons stated about you can only fit 2.77 gears on the 2.77 hemisphere.

aa ok thanks guys

i just wasnt sure how all the numbers worked together..

so the ratio and splines both need to be the same as the rest of the center? so say mine is a 3.73 id need an LSD center out of a 3.73 diff?

try to always stick with the AU 80 series diff, its a stronger unit
