I have a couple of issues with my TDCI -maybe someone has comments.
Firstly I lost the flip remote key. No problem just using the spare non flip remote key. However now the remote lock/unlock has stopped working. Can I get this fixed , where and how much. Secondly after starting the car immediately the engine fires there is a bang or boom noise on perhaps the rhs of the engine area. Looking at European forums this could be a common Euro ford issue of the ABS ''resetting''. Anyone had anything similar/mine has now done 168000kms. Thanks in advance. |

The bang from the engine after start up has proved to be that the plastic engine shroud is loose !
From inside the car it sounds awful. Big relief. |
