Default Adapter

I have an AU 2 2000 XR8 (5.0 v8), I have an aftermarket universal air filter which has 3" / 3.5" and 4" adapting sleeves. Is there an adapter off the mass air flow sensor to which the air filter fits to available? Ive had a look but I cant see or find anything on the net.

Just buy a pod filter adapter - supercheap, autobarn etc all sell them. they bolt up to the maf and have a 3" round end for the pod to slip on.
