Fixed? By: New Gearbox

Only took ford 15 months and 24,000 k's before they finally authorize a replacement gearbox. Dealer always wanted to do a gearbox, but ford wouldn't sign off on a new box until all avenues had been exhausted.
Several weeks after the gearbox was replaced, while leaving a car park, the engine came off the engine mounts. Car towed to ford and the part required took about 5 weeks to arrive at the dealership. No 5th or 6th gear in that time.

Car was traded 4 days after the repair was made. Happy to see the back of it.

Worst car I have ever owned in terms of reliability.
