Default Women And Cars...

Ok, i would love to tell you all about my sunday night...

I am currently at uni from mon-thurs, and work 12 hr shifts (starting at 4am) fri-sun. Sunday after work i decided to take the girl out to dinner, and then to the movies, u know, the typical sappy crap. but anyway,

after dinner, driving home the battery light comes on, and the power steering just stopped working. I initially thought the power steering blew up and hit the alternator or sumthin but i quickly pulled over and discovered what happened.

The pulley to the water pump (WHO THE HELL MADE IT PLASTIC???) just sheared off, and hence totally whacked the belt which then flew off. We couldnt go anywhere obviously so I had to get the old man to grab a tandom in his xb ute and pick us up and towe it home. (1130 pm)

Obviously the missus wasnt too impressed ( "Ur always fiddling, bla bla bla"), and all i could say is "These things happen from time to time" lol, but anyway.

ok, so we got it home and i had to assess the bill the next day..

Dinner and wine - $90
Movies - $25
New water pump and pulley - $120 (METAL PULLEY)
Spare belt (Thanks the lord)
Trailer and fuel for the old ute(towed from indro to ipswich) - $80

All up, sunday night after being awake from 3am, WOMEN and CARS cost me $300 bucks..

about 17hrs of work for a great night out

Honestly, if your ever gonna break down on the side of the road, do it by yourself. 5% of the stress comes from the car 95% from the girl lol

But the best part about it is you can say we saved hundreds by fixing it ourselves, that usually gets em in the mood. lol

anyway, i just wanna know, whos idea was it to make a PLASTIC pulley?? ill post some photos of it soon... Anyone elses ef/el/au have a plastic pulley???

im stoopified over this??

HA HA $300 bucks is a cheap night out ,

Imagine if you were single and "a lady of the night" would be that much

NO dinner
NO wine
NO movie
Nothing to put up on forum thread
