hey guys im putting on a snort kit now with the plenum
but it obstructs this little doo dad. this controls all these butterfly valves but wtf do they do??? wat would the effects be if i removed the butterflys all together???and the doo dad also |

They're the butterflies for the short/long runners in the BBM and I believe that doo dad thingy is the actuator for them.
Being turbo, I'd be gutting the BBM and removing that stuff while you've got it apart. |

do all the butterflies work like a choke? i dont know what they do.
if i remove them will be a to start when cold and run crap until up to temp??? |

No. Butterflies are used to switch between the runners in the manifold. Long runners at low rpm for torque, then IIRC they switch over to the short runners for more top end power at roughly 3800rpm.

Yep, with a turbo they are pretty much pointless. Remove them and do a little porting while you are there.

If you are not running a after market ecu the stock computer can't handle bigger injectors without a flash tunner even then the capabilitys are very limited.
