*Edit claimed to be one of the striaghtest cars panel wise. Wone top bodywork and paint at summernats 5.

Stolen in '93 stripped down and sold off. Never recovered

i've got nothing to confess but i remember reading that his neighbours saw it leaving the driveway..
shame.. makes me wonder what type of security would i need to protect our passion.??

Only seen pics of it and alot of people still say it had the straightest black paint job they have ever seen. So must of been very impressive. Can anyone scrape up a pic for us?

I remember seeing in at a car show once, i would have been about 13 at the time.

Fantasitc car, oh and btw i think it was actually an XA with XC front end / dash from memory.

strangely enough i was watching the "history of summernats `88 - `07" dvd today and there was a bit about 4MYLYN on there.

they were saying that it had the best bodywork on a black car they have ever seen. and about it being stolen.

i can remember it at the summernats and bill also brought it to Kandos for the first main street mania show we held there. he seemed like a great bloke and the car was the star of the show. that wasnt long before it went missing.

i remember reading that his neighbours though he was driving out the drive way until the owner came home asking the neighbours if they saw anything..
i have a pic of this car but no article..i remember seeing it in darling harbour motor show years back.. was a very nice work of art..
heaps of old school cars have vanished..unfortunately...

That car was a piece of art. Just from that picture above you can see the perfect panel spacings from the bonnet up the cowl and fenders.
I didn't know it was stolen and scrapped tho. can't believe someone could do that.

I know the guy that painted the car. He did my parents in law Mustang. He was devasted when it got stolen, and he didn't even own it.
