Default gearboxes

r the 6cyl gearboxes the same as the v8 ones with just a different bellhousing or r they completly different boxes????

If you mean autos, the 6cyl has BTR 93LE and V8 has 97LE - I think the 97LE is stronger but not sure how that is achieved - other than the strength I think they're the same. I believe the manuals are identical between 6s and 8s.

8 has different valves.

dam ok then i will keep looking for a v8 manual box thanks.

i should have said manaul box in the first place wasnt thinking properlywhen i wrote message.

Manuals also have different gear ratios I beleive.
