What are the various shapes and sizes of muffler tips that people can/have put on their AU's to make them look better? Obviously not the big cannon..

Its really a personal choice in the end. I have gone for a sedate oval.

yea, im just in for the look, later down the track i might get the JMM exhaust system. Would one of those fit onto a stock falcon au S1 exhaust? i dont know the size of them. and would it be able to cover the whole old one, so you dont see it from the outside?

Best bet is to go to an exhaust shop and have a look at what tips they have.

When i got mine done I got the guys to put on the tip off a ba XR6 it looks like it was meant to be there - it is the rectangular one and goes really well with the straighter lines on AU xr6 bumper - will try to get pics soon

I think they are normally around the $40 mark - I have had all my exhausts done there so they threw it in for free.
will have photos tomorrow. Chippa

I opted for a twin pipe tips. They are both about 2.25" in size, with no angle'd cuts or anything.
If I plan on getting a bodykit, i'll go with the angle'd cuts to make it look neater.

I went twin 3" round tips on the XR8, and a single 3.5" round tip on the wagon (6). Attached is a pic of the wagon - don't have one of the XR.

yeah T3 style is awesome. You can always do what I have done and get no tip at all, looks pretty tough IMO.

Its not an AU, but the bumper cutout is very similar to the stock AU bumper.
Ignore the black mess created by overfueling Its twin 2.5"

I would assume that you probably already have a 2" pipe standard? any exhaust shop can weld a flange pipe on to go from 2" to the required size to fit a new tip.
