Has anyone put a V8 into a MKII Cortina.

YES I MUST SAY I SAW 1 IN BRISBANE ABOUT 1 YEAR AGO ..LOOK REALY REALY TUFF .BUT I THINK HE DID SOME MAJOR CUTTING IN THE FIREWALL......THINGS YOU DO FOR MORE POWER,,

there is no need for major firewall changes

depends on whether you run a front rack or rear rack or steering box

are some states still allowing them to be complianced?? NSW isn't anymore so i hear.

I dont think you can register them with a V8 anymore.LC/LJ toranas you cannot and escorts you cant as im building a V8 clevo escort and cannot be registered.

LC/LJ torana's still can be, a mate of mine just put a GEN3 in his LJ 2 door

Read NSW guidelines.As for putting a V8 into an LJ you cannot legally do it anymore here.As for other states im not sure.

oh ok, yeah this is here in good old victoria, where you can still do a lot of stuff. an engineer here said i can put a 289 into an escort
