was surfing another site and come across this article.
well what i found was an article stating that with cai ,hsv cat and jmm headers the old i6 is good for 142 rwk : .i thought yeh right if it was dyno'd at jmm anything is possible .untill i saw the dyno chart and it was done at chiptorque .sure makes all my efforts pretty lame. would've been good if they were kind enough to do a run before and after down the qter.i think i have lost a lot of respect for chiptorque and autospeed (usualy a good read).or maybe the jmm gear just works ???? hers a link to the article.http://209.85.135.104/search?q=cache...lnk&cd=1&gl=au

I had the JMM race headers, the JMM cat (that they claimed was better than the HSV one) and the JMM CAI pod setup. It wasnt good for 142rwkw on any other dyno I ever went on.
JMM dyno..150rwkw Hallam dyno... 135rwkw G&D dyno... 122rwkw (without the Chiptorque chip) All the same mods, same car.

With the chiptorque chip in I'm guessing 130 or so rwkw was about right. Certainly no where near 150.

check this link out from chiptorque,http://www.chiptorque.com.au/Ford/AUXR6.html
why would you bother spending $1750 for a max 25rwk gain when you can spend a grand on some jmm gear and get 30 rwk +,even without a chip. used:

Thats probably more to do with the chip though. In their time they were a damn good thing. I should know, I had one, and it was a ripper. Probably worth a good 8-10rwkw in my car.

Interesting.... I don't like the idea about the Extractors being noisy? Can anyone comment on the noise it made?

142 rwkws is about right for an xr6 with xorst extractors and chip. I modified my jmm race series extractors and the car pulled alot harder. The problem is that these extractors are made for passenger cars for daily driving. The low to midrange torque increase would be great because of the longer secondaries
