I saw a 1976 2 Door Galant wiz past today.

A car that had long slipped my memory but a pleasant surprise to see that these now old and not so common cars survive.

Don't have any pics.. but last night, was up in the Adelaide hills fangin around some twisties on my favorite road and got my front number plate sucked off by a series II Nissan Bluebird, both in a straight line and around corners:

After he made my balls shrink... and was parked, I caught up with him and had a chat. Turns out he's running an SR 20 Turb with plenty of boost making around 300+ kilo wasps at the treads. Quick thing. Nothing to look at, shitty brown colour. But I have total respect for it, as it handled, and was quicker than a cut snake.
Felt good to be embarrassed by an old school weapon. He new all about about my car, what it is etc. He was impress at how well my 'Taxi' went.
My biggest problem was I ran out of grip. I need WAY more stickier tyres if I'm ever going to have a chance at keeping up with him... let alone staying in front of it. Good times.
I guess it's still 'just a taxi' with a blower, shocks / springs / brakes etc.. A fun taxi... albeit.

Over and out,

One Man

Resident evil something I swear to . . . ( What ever you believe in) There's a mighty blue AU Fairmount that gets rear ended by the truck/command centre on wheels thingy during the highway chase scene.

Edit resident evil:the final chapter. It just gets rear ended at 16:16 mins:secs

Tidy WB from a few weeks ago

Similar vein to the RS6 posted some days ago, this thing was on another level just had to get a pic of it, had to google it so see what model roller it was and was genuinely shocked with the asking price of a similar example on Carsales!

Wondering if his name is Rusty and he is 73 or perhaps the car is a well mo 73' HQ ute.
The rear side repeater indicators are missing suggesting its a WB along with the plastic tail lights surrounds but I have seen plenty Q's to Z's without them.

Still bloody nice ute

A pinky purple coupe yesterday.
Caught it in the sidemirror as it lined up behind the car behind me. It turned off before I got a better look.

Lots of Vals / Pacers around over the weekend
