AU ute would have to get a mention.
Half monocoque half chassis is only something Ford Australia would have attempted and it was a massive success. Then the crazy bastards did a lift kit and threw a locker on in the BA. How many other production cars have had a 3" lift from the factory?
They are still a better vehicle to drive than a modern single cab Thai ute.
