just on a quick side note:

carefully count the amount of turns ur tie rod ends come off by and refit with same amount of turns to new rack and ur wheel alignment will sorta be in the right spot. also please dont destroy the thred on the tie rods by bashing on top of the bolt, just hit the steering knuckle has hard as u can and it will pop free. dont be scared to use a real man's hammer (mini sledgy)

as for fluid use an agri type based fluid, works best with the ford systems, bleeding is piece of cake, fill reservoir up turn lock to lock twice, back to centre and top up as required. done
