Check for a leaking fuel rail pin hole leak due to corrosion. It's more commonly an issue on vehicles that have been left undriven for some time at some point in their life or have used ethanol fuel (it's hydroscopic and adsorbs water) but in any event, it's still worth checking. With this problem, there will be enough fuel at the injectors and perhaps in part of the fuel rail to initially start the vehicle but the injectors are then starved of fuel and it won't go until it is restarted and fuel rail refueled. Carefully and thoroughly check for a fuel wetness with your hand along both the outside of the bottom and ends of the fuel rail.
The metal fuel lines can also, but less often, corrode and leak causing similar issues.
Similarly, check for leaking/dribbling injectors that might be emptying fuel from the fuel rail in to the cylinders between starts.
