NZ reported 11,030 cases and 35 deaths for a CMR of 0.179% (é).
A higher 138,443 new cases in the USA this week and higher 2,596 deaths leaves CMR at 1.089 (é).

Other notable points:
Global cases pass 687M;
France passes 40M cases;

Global case numbers are down slightly to571,836 this week compared to the 574,819 last week and the number of deaths increased from an unamended 3,552 last week to4,518this week although the amended case numbers for last week are up to 665,541 thanks largely to some countries moving to weekly or fortnightly reporting.
