I'm honestly not sure about the SW models, but I can't see why they'd be sourced from the US when the US only made them for their own LHD market. I'm pretty sure ours came from Germany. If I'm right, your VIN should begin with WF, if so, I beleive that indicates Germany as your country of manufacture.

it tells you how to 'decode' your VIN number. Based on my first two letters, my car is made in Germany (W) by Ford (F).
