It does a little but I don't mind it. Shifting itself is actually really nice and solid and very quick. It's just a bit clunky on really low speed shifts and when first going into D or R. I still prefer it over DSG
These reviews about VW Golfs get tiring - I occasionally drive a mk6 GTI and I test drove a Comforttline and Trendline mk7.5 before buying this and the interior is really not that amazing, its starting to look dated. Plus when you buy a lower model there's all these blank plastic buttons which just constantly remind you that you were a cheapskate lol
