It is crazy how many subtle variations can be made and what they look like.
I have done zero research but I would think it would be possible or soon possible to make redesigned plastic bumpers ect with a 3d printer.
I have seen hand held 3d Scanners that accurately map objects.
So I would assume it would be possible to 3d scan a bumper off the car, and load it into the computer then modify it from there, keeping measurements of mounting points ect unchanged.
Would hate to imagine how much the scanners would cost though.
