Yeah. You think I would have learnt that by now. Eh.
She has no problem with me doing hard launches. This time the proximity of the motorcyclist what is the problem and she thought I was too aggressive.
She thought I was in endangering him. I don’t think I was. After thousands of hours door to door racing I don’t think his safety was in jeopardy.
I just backed myself. And the 10A Mustang.
I also wanted to let him know that his skills as a motorcyclist and the speed of his motorcycle is not what he thought it was.
Funny, but it reminds me of an incident at Wakefield some years ago. During the first practice session, a guy in a Factory twin turbo Porsche 911 tried to intimidate me.
In practice session two I lined him up and passed him @ 211 km/h at Turn one on the inside of what he thought was the right line. Less than one inch to spare.
He stayed out of my way the rest of the weekend.
In a way, that’s what I was trying to teach this young fella, not to pull up at lights and try to intimidate fast cars.
If he reflects he will not try it again. If he doesnt he’s a T.A.
