33,080 new cases for Australia and 147 deaths so the CMR is 0.179% (é).
NZ reported 12,258 cases and 48 deaths for a CMR of 0.180% (é).
A much lower 25,450 new cases in the USA this week and much lower 278 deaths so the CMR at 1.089 (-).

Other notable points:
Global cases pass 688M;
Europe passes 249M cases;
Asia passes 217M cases;

Global case numbers are down to494,476 this week compared to the 571,836 last week although the USA is odd in reporting about 100k less cases and the number of deaths decreased from an unamended 4,518 last week to4,483this week although the amended case numbers for last week are up to 625,125 thanks largely to some countries moving to weekly or fortnightly reporting.

NSW had 5,871 more cases than Victoria last week;
Victoria recorded 1,142 more cases than the previous week;
NSW recorded 657 more;
Queensland had 695 more;WA recorded 159 more;
SA recorded 108 more; and
New Zealand recorded 1,228 more.

The week totalled 33,080 cases, a 9.7% increase on last week to go with a 6.7% increase in deaths.
