Eh, your charger should tell you if the batteries are sad. If anything, the AA batteries in the radio will be the pain if they're dead and you don't have any in the bottom draw in the kitchen. Or maybe its just me, I hate going up the shop for just 1 item. Parking is always a pain and at my local, the car park there brings out the stupidity in the best of people.
