CarPro Perl is water based. I would try a wet cloth again, rinsing and repeating until you get the desired finish.

I'm sure the use of an All Purpose Cleaner would break it down as well but I'm not a fan of using strong APC's on certain interior plastics, especially soft touch and leather look dashboards.
