This event was hugely popular last year and there are a lot of people keen to do it again in 2009!

A skid pan day has been organised for Saturday July 18. The course is run by rally and race legend Rick Bates, and its held at the Sutton Driver Training Complex.

The day will include:

- Theory on car control - the how's and why's;
- Causes of skidding and why it happens;
- How to get out of a situation; and
- Have some fun using throttle control to control skids (not do doughnuts).

Cost is approximately $135.00 per person inc GST (exact amount will be known once we work out exact numbers).

How long is the course?
The course is conducted over half a day from 8:30am - 12:30pm. Afternoon 1.00pm - 5.00pm. There is a morning / afternoon tea break.

How many people attend?
Usually 8 people will attend each course.

Thats a total of 16 places... So get in early to ensure a place..
